I’m trying to find a way to add these plugins (bandsintown and addthis) to my site and possibly my (mailchimp) account before I can make the the decision to upgrade. I tried everything. Is it possible somebody can add it for me and I can take it from there? Help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
You can’t add plugins to a WordPress.com site. However, see the Plugin Requests section of the Plugins support page.
See the Mailchimp support page.

That was pretty helpful when it comes to the Mailchimp part. How about the “Addthis” and “Bandsintown” that I’m seeing you tubers demonstrate but I can’t even use it on wordpress. I’m stuck and I don’t want to continue my page until I can figure this out. Those the plugins I need the most. Please help.
And also, check out SlickText.Com, Perfect for mobile advertisement.

Bandintown is an app and there is a Bandsintown Tour Dates widget that you can in embed in a post or page. See the Bandsintown Tour Dates support page.
I suspect and videos you’ve seen regarding the AddThis plugin may be created by and directed at those who use WordPress.org. See https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

Like the AddThis plugin, the BandsinTown plugin can be used on sites with WordPress.org installations, but you can’t add it to a WordPress.com site.

I downloaded the plugin from wordpress.org, how do I add it to my wordpress.com? Or if not possible, how do I get my admin page to look like the way wordpress does? because they look exactly the same. same list and all. I feel like giving up.

The mailchimp embed code will not work on any site hosted by wordpress.COM.
Staff have recently added the mailchimp widget for subscriptions and here is the link to the guide you must use https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp
re: wordpress.com blog subscriptions
All that’s required to follow any blog hosted by wordpress.COM is exactly what you were required to provide to register here, and that is a valid email address that the published posts can be sent to.
Here subscribers control their own subscriptions and frequency of receipt of posts from sites they subscribe to. We cannot act on their behalf.
You can set up email subscriptions here > Appearance > Widgets > Follow Blog Widget by using this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
Widgets can be configured to appear only on certain pages (or be hidden on certain pages) by clicking on the Visibility button.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibilityWe have a subscription shortcode which you can make use of. The help page on it is right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/ You can also include the subscription shortcode at the end of every post you publish.
Additional information:
You can create a Subscribe page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ add and customize a contact form with multiple fields, change the email address where you’ll be notified, and mark feedbacks as spam from your dashboard on that page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/Bottom line: Staff review all threads in the Ideas Forum and will contact the requester(s) if they choose to implement what’s requested. However, my read on this is don’t hold your breath as there are 7 pages of such requests.
This guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform: Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site

@ chillzamania,
Or if not possible, how do I get my admin page to look like the way wordpress does? because they look exactly the same. same list and all.
They don’t look exactly the same. They look similar. One of the differences would be that the WordPress.org dashboard has a Plugins tab in the left sidebar, which will open to a sub-menu containing “Installed Plugins,” “Add New,” and “Editor” tabs, and the WordPress.com dashboard left sidebar does not have these tabs.
-
They look similar.
I mean the WP Admin dashboard left sidebar vs. the WordPress.org dashboard left sidebar.
