  When I try to look under ‘plugins’ on my dashboard, nothing comes up. It seems like there should be a menu (‘add new’, etc), but there isn’t.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You must have been reading support docs that only apply to self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. Here at WordPress.com we can’t install extra plugins above the popular ones already included.
