There is no FTP access to our free hosted WorPress.com blogs and we bloggers can’t install plugins for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install plugins. Only those with WordPress.org installs can use plugins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Sorry, but that doesn’t mean anything to me, just a beginner. I have wordpress.org plugins installed on my site but the image will not send with the email. I also got a watermark plugin and that wont load on my images. Is there more information on how to work these things? So hard for a beginner

We cannot use plugins on wordpress.com. If you need them, then you must buy a domain name and pay someone to host your site. Software from wordpress.org is free.
wp.com is not the same as wp.org -
that’s exactly what I have!! goodness. I have a registered website all legal etc and I have installed plugins on that website for use for ecards. the email sends but the image is not attached. it says to call up a file but not how or where.
I installed the plugins from my website and all went well, it just doesn’t send the image. Is that the right way to ask? -
Is http://cooeechris.wordpress.com/ the only site you have? If so, plugins cannot be used with it.

I know…. I have a website http://www.forecast4fortune.com. It is hosted by wordpress and I installed plugin through that. these are the instructions and if I am to do step 2. I don’t get it. I assume step 1 is the alternative shortcode which I am using. I had a customer tell me her friend did not get the image. help?
1. Add the shortcode [ecard] to a post or a page
2. Call the function from a template file: <?php if(function_exists(‘display_ecardMe’)) echo
display_ecardMe(); ?>
3. Use the shortcode [ecard_counter] to display the number of eCards sent
4. Call the function from a template file: <?php if(function_exists(‘display_ecardCounter’)) echo
display_ecardCounter(); ?>
Where to use eCards?

Did you read the link about the differences between wp.com and wp.org?
You are asking about a wp.ORG site. We cannot help you here: these forums are for wp.COM. You need to ask for help over at the wp.ORG site because our answers won’t apply to your platform:
