So I have been youtubing videos on how to add facebook to my wordpress blog and all of them say you need to go to your plugin, which is underneath the appearance button. However on my blog I do not have a plugin option. Can someome tell me how I get that option.

The insructions you are following are for wordpress.ORG installs. They will not work on wordpress.COM blogs. The two run on different software. There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM blogs and we cannot upload plugins into them. WordPress.COM blogs.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/You are referring to the Like Box which cannot be installed on WordPress.COM:

My picture on my facebook badge is not showing up either. I’ve gone so far as to delete the text widget and copy it back in and it still is not showing up. My blog is karenhealey.wordpress.com.

@karenhealey: For some reason, the URL of your Facebook Badge image starts with https. Go to the text widget in question, remove the s (http), save, and it should load just fine.

I’ve read recent information that https means a secure site, and http does not. Any truth to this? And why would that make a difference on the wordpress.com site, just asking.
Thanks. -

Thank you! I did go back and remove the s in http and copied back into my widget, and my picture appeared. Although being more secure with the http(s), it is not compatible when used in my facebook page badge on wordpress.com.
