Plugins Availability

I don’t think it is fair that the business plan is the only one to get plugin availability.

I pay £8 a month for the ability to edit CSS, unlimited themes and Wordads but Business gets a lot more that just doesn’t seem fair.

They get the SEO tools, remove branding, personal help and plugins

I would like to have the chance to explore plugins, see what could improve my site but am not given the chance to and £20 is much out of my reach.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

If you want to try and test plugins you can use a site like https://jurassic.ninja/ that creates a temporary WordPress site and lets you install plugins and third-party themes.

If you absolutely need to use plugins, remove the WordPress.com branding, etc., then you can host your site on another provider that uses the self-hosted version of WordPress. In that case, though, you won’t have dedicated WordPress support, nor the stability, security, and automatic maintenance that WordPress.com offers.
