Plugins available for people who haven't purchased the own domain?
-
Hello everyone,
I cannot add plugins to my blog because I haven’t purchased my own domain. Is WordPress planning to introduce “plugins” for free websites? I would like to add the following plugins on my blog:
Instangram
Pinterest
Google+
and some other pluginsI am working on some ways to increase views on my blog and get more social friendly.
Thanks a lot you for your help.
Ana

Please do not assume that buying a domain name releases you from the security constraints or Terms of Service at WordPress.com. It does not. As long as your blog is hosted here you will not be able to add plugins, custom domain or not.
However, you can currently post pictures from Instagram in your blog (just get the URL of the image and use Insert from URL in your Add Media button) and sidebar (add your Instagram feed to your Flickr widget).
You can add Post to Pinterest buttons to your posts under Sharing. You can add a link to YOUR Pinterest account by using a text widget in your sidebar.
You can add Post to G+ buttons to your posts under Sharing. You can add a link to YOUR G+ account by using a text widget in your sidebar.

I was desperately searching for a solution to this too – everywhere I read said “go to FTP and you can install plugins or add themes in the wp-content folder”. I was confused, cause I had only registered with just a simple blog address and did not purchase any domain or hosting since I knew that I didn’t have to.
I remember though that at the beginning of this year it was much much easier to install plugins, widgets and themes right? There was a plugin panel on the dashboard and you could just simply upload the file and that was it. simple.
Why did they change that?! I don’t really want to purchase a domain and hosting, it was so much easier before.. -
@enescuoana – there has never been a lug-in menu on WordPress.COM blogs – if you saw a Plug-in option you were on a WordPress.ORG install
