  I have checked so many videos but in that we can install plugins without paying but here it’s asking to go premium so please help out can’t we install plugins without paying

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi –

  What you are referring to is using the open source WordPress installation. With that version of WordPress you can install plugins free of charge.

  Here, at WordPress.com, we are a managed environment and different from the WordPress installation. With WordPress.com you are required to have the business plan in order to upload any plugins to your site with us.

  Those thousands plugins are in the wordpress.org repository and, as Lizkarkoski already said, can only be installed on a wordpress.com website if you upgrade to the Business Plan.
