plugins cost $54 per month?

    Hi –
    I’m following Tyler Moore wordpress on YouTube and he advises to down load starter templates which means I have to upgrade to $54 / month, which I don’t want to do. even the free starter template that is shown asks me to upgrade. I’m old, a senior, so what am I doing wrong please?

    If when you say Templates, you are referring to themes, then yes, @themagicrobot is correct. We have plenty of free themes here on WordPress.com and hosting a site here is free as well:

    If you are referring to Templates that are part of the Full Site Editor, those are also available without charge:
