  I don’t understand how plugins exist for wordpress, but then wordpress says there are no plugins for wordpress blogs? I do not want to open a store or do large retail on my blog, rather a one time event that requires a cart, because there are various options. The buy now button becomes cumbersome. Is there any plan to have a shopping cart plugin?

  WordPress.com blogs do not support plugins. If you’re looking to install plugins, you’ll need to install your own WordPress.org software.

  Have you tried the Eventbrite Single theme? It integrates with Eventbrite for payments, and that might just be what you’re looking for!
