Plugins for wp.COM
-
I’ve read that only wp.ORG admits plugins.
I have a wp.COM http://lepetitececile.wordpress.com and I need to add some plugins so the only thing that I can do is buy a hosting for my site that supports the wordpress platform, right?
I don’t want to have a wp.ORG
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want to add plugins, you will need an independently-hosted blog with software from WordPress.org.
But if you simply tell us what you actually want to accomplish, then we can probably give you a workaround that means you don’t have to move.

@raincoaster
I located the blog. It was exported out of blogger and imported into wp.com http://lepetitececile.wordpress.com/ -
I have a wordpress.com site and want to install google analytics.
I can’t seem to access a plugins option or the editor option which were part of the installation instructions. How can I do it?

Thanks.

@betweenthebells: All our blogs are subdomains of wordpress.com. Since WordPress.com already runs Google Analytics on the domain, we can’t use it.
And you may want to read these if you haven’t already

Here’s the wordpress.com support documentation link to the “no plugins on wordpress.com blogs” entry http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
