plugins, google ads, difference to wordpress.com

    Hello, I tried to install a plugin, but it tells me, that I need to upgrade my plan, whereas in wordpress.org it seems to be possible to install google adsense . Is there any difference between both sites or any coded alternative to integrate ads? Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi there,

    Plugins can be installed on a WordPress.com site and to do so, you need to upgrade to WordPress.com plans, as you correctly pointed out.

    The self-hosted WordPress.org version is available for free. You must purchase hosting from another provider, such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc., and install WordPress software on it.
