Plugins help?

  Hi there! I am trying to download the Instagram Plugin, but upon installation, I cannot find Plugins option on my Dashboard. I read something about WordPress.com/org but it’s not helping much.

  Help please!! :)

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.

  Oh darn! So essentially I’d have to pay for a domain to have various Plugins?

  No. As I said above:

  there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  I browsed through the links you provided– thank you!
  So from what I understand, I cannot have an Instagram icon, Facebook icon, etc unless I use WordPress.org?

  Sorry — just very confused..
