Plugins; I don't understand how they work…
-
Hey, buddies!
I’m wanting to install some plugins on my blog, but I honestly do not get how…
It always talks about putting the stuff in a folder, but I don’t understand this folder thing… I mean, I have something online, my computer is not my blog’s server.
How is it done?! I would like to have social media buttons rolling with my page and so on…
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Whatever you are referring to applies only to WordPress.ORG software installs and not your WordPress>COM blog.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
There is no FTP access to WordPress.COM blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins or third party themes.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that.
WordPress.ORG offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.ORG install.
