Why can’I use plugins and many other functions with worpress.com as many are available on wordpress.org. is it possible to move to wordpress.org? What are the differences?

If you intend to sell any of the items on your blog, you will HAVE to move to WordPress.org, as selling items like that is banned here. It is possible, and not difficult, to make the move.

And the reason you can’t use plugins or external themes is for security reasons. Basically, if WP.com allowed them, you’d be exposed to the greatest security risk that the stupidest person at WordPress.com deemed acceptable, and that’s too big a risk. With independent hosting, you expose yourself to the risks that you choose.

No i do not wish to sell those items. I just blog about these. I just think that the possibilities are a little limited if you wish to personalize your blog here or for example add an instagram gallery.
