Plugins keep failing

Every time I try to upload a plugin it fails. I can’t find any reason for this. Have you changed something?
It’s really frustrating. I’ve spent the whole day trying to upload some plugins and every time, I get the failed message.

It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
Are you having trouble with a self-hosted WordPress site? Because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
