If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes.

Thanx for the answer, but could you explain in dummy language please? What is ftp?? And I use a .nl site, so it is not a free wordpress blog right?? If I understand correctly, I have to set up wordpress hosting and pay for it? Okay, but how do i hire a host? I see different options in the link you suggest, but which do I use? And how do I install? What are the steps? It’s pretty difficult for a dummy like me..

You aren’t allowed to run any blogger initiated advertising and doing so will result in a suspended blog.
Here’s what gets a blog suspended:

http://en.wordpress.com/tos/No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this guide to learn about the differences.
