plugins moved to ‘old’ file and deactivated
-
Hi, installing a new version of the website using the restore backup method. The restore failed and caused a critical error. After getting the site back online I found all plugins deactivated and unable to be reactivated as the plugin had been moved to ‘old’ folder and can’t be reactivated. How can I troubleshoot these and get full functionality back?

Hi there! We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to access your site’s backend to take a closer look. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.
You should reach out to your host Siteground for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you find and fix this problem.
If you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

I hope this points you in the right direction.
