Plugins page blank and won't let me add tablepress
-
I want to install the tablepress plugin, but when I go to the plugins page on my site there are none previously installed and when I click the search button, as soon as I type anything it goes to the upgrade page for wordpress.com business. The regular plugin page is blank, and when I inspect element for the divs they are empty. I’m using Safari 8.0.8 on a MacBook air, but it does the same thing on Chrome.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://jesseractly.com/ is hosted by WordPress.COM
http://royal-change.com/ is hosted by WordPress.COMYou are confusing wordpress.COM hosted sites like yours with wordpress.ORG software installs. Facebook comments is plugin that can be used on WordPress.ORG installs, but not on wordpress.COM hosted sites.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

I used this example above “Facebook comments is plugin” but you can trust the fact that what I said also allies to tablepress and other wordpress.ORG plugins as well.
re: HTML tables
I make my own HTML tables and there are how to posts on my blog.

And, another good reference is here http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp
Note that if you use Windows then Windows Live Writer it has a tablemaker > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/ Note: Firefox users on Windows machines may need to clear the browser cache with ctrl+shift+del in order to get Firefox to recognize the formatting. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/posting-of-word-files-with-tables?replies=6
