plugins problem

  I cant find the /wp-content/plugins directory in my wordpress blog site . for this reason I can not install any plugins . from my blog after log in if I try to go to http://sonjbond.wordpress.com/wp-content/plugins/ I can see this error

  There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install themes or plugins. Those with WordPress.org installs have FTP access and can install their own themes, third party themes and plugins.
