  Add new plugins are not showing as a option to add the plugin I want. Please help!

  Plugins are not allowed on WordPress.com. WordPress.com already includes the functionalities of the most popular plugins, a list of which you can find here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  Plugins are allowed on self hosted WordPress.org sites, which are different from WordPress.com in many ways. You can read more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
