Plugins question

  I’m confused about plugins. There is an entire directory of plugins on WordPress.org but it doesn’t seem like any of them are usable. (https://wordpress.org/plugins/) For example, I would really like to use something like MyBookProgress but I can’t figure out how to do it. Thank you.

  All available plugins on WordPress.com are already built in and you don’t have the option to install third-party plugins here.
