Plugins tab is missing …
-
Would like to add a plugin but don’t see the Plugins tab. Wanted to add a guess bloggers and installation says I should have plugins tab on my dashboard but I don’t. Can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.COM blogs don’t have plugins, you’ll need to self host with WordPress.ORG if you really want them

A lot of things that need plugins on .org are available via widgets and short codes on WordPress.com, or just built in. What do you want the plugin for – there may be a way to do what you want on .com.

My blog has its own domain but still on wordpress … Will i need to create a different account with .org? Thought they were the same.
I would like to add guess bloggers to the site.
Thank you both for your answers

You can add other bloggers who sign up to WordPress.com. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
WordPress.org is different, you run the software yourself, usually through a hosting provider. This is more work, but if you want to go down this route here are some of WordPress’ recommended hosts.

We already have bloggers who are added to the blog and regularly post new articles but there are some who just want to submit an article when they can. I have read that that the ‘guest’ plugin would help with this hence why I asked in the first place.
Looked at the recommended hosts and like you said, looks like it’s hard work :-(
Thanks
