Podcast embeds on free site

  Hi all,
  I’m using the free WordPress plan website to host transcripts for my podcast on Anchor/Spotify. When I embed an episode’s code into a post, it shows up as a little player in the draft. However if I publish the post, the embed code and player disappear. Can I only use this function on paid plans?

  Hi there!

  You can embed Spotify links on any plan level. The only thing you can’t do on a free plan is upload a podcast to your media library.

  Can you check this support document and confirm you’re adding the Spotify links the correct way?

  You can also embed a podcast episode or feed from another source using the Podcast Player block:

  https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/podcast-player-block/

  One thing to note: you won’t be able to see the embed on the front end of your site because it’s still in “coming soon” mode – once your site is launched, the embeds will work on the front end.
