podcast rss feed and google play

  I am using “media settings” to create my podcast feed, this url:

  <my-url>/wp-admin/options-media.php

  When I submit to Google play, it does not validate my feed and tells me this:

  “Podcast RSS feed must include a podcast title, an author and an email. Please update your RSS feed to continue.”

  The media settings does not have and option to add an email to the rss feed, any suggestions how it can be added?

  In case anyone ran into the same issue, I will post the workaround I found. I created a feed through google Feedburner. I clicked on “I am a podcaster” and submitted my wordpress feed into it. Was able to add an “email” option during the setup process. Google Play approved the feedburner version of the feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RandomShotsPodcast

  Would prefer to not need a third party to do this so I will not mark as resolved until there is an optional email field added to the feed settings.
