Podcast Statistics

I’m really frustrated that I spent the money to get a domain on WordPress.com and upgrade it to Premium (so I can embed my podcast in posts) and now I realize that you don’t provide download statistics for podcasts.
You have stats for every other imaginable thing including how many people view VIDEOS but not podcasts.
This really needs to be fixed. I feel like this is a huge problem because certainly you have a way of keeping track of how many times a podcast is downloaded. I have read that maybe you can use Feedburner with a WordPress account and I’d like to know if that really is possible. But I just lack the technical ability to really take advantage of that.
Please, please, please make stats available for podcasts.

You can try implementing podcast download statistics from Blubrry. You can use them for free. You’ll need to be able to add the stats redirect URL to your media file links. This process can vary, depending on exactly how you post your files. You can learn more about the stat service here:
