Podcast upload doesnt work.

I created a podcast with CallRecorder and converted the audio to .m4a format. But I cant upload it to my blog post from ‘Add media’.
I have WordPress premium already. Do I also need to buy the Space upgrade in order to upload a podcast (audio file on my computer drive)? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No you do not need another upgrade. Audio
With the purchase of the WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plans, you are also permitted to upload zip files and the following audio file types, in addition to the basic file types listed above:
.mp3
.m4a
.ogg
.wavThere is an embedded audio player built in to WordPress.com that will work with .mp3 files. http://support.wordpress.com/audio/

Thanks timethief.
With WordPress premium, I can’t upload .m4a format. I tried to add it to my Media library but the format doesnt work.
I have my audio already produced. I want to add it to a new blog post but I dont want it to appear as a link that my readers have to click on. It should be embedded.
I cant find the “embedded audio player’ that you referred to. And anyway, I thought that was to produce audio from WordPress. -

Thank you.
That account actually does not have WordPress.com Premium, it is a free site. As such, you would not be able to upload those audio files.

The http://www.dailyfintech.com has WordPress.premium. The admin (Bernard Lunn) bought it last month and we have been able to upload video since then. See our post
http://dailyfintech.com/2015/11/03/salivating-for-unadvised-assets-a-videographic/At the same time, I dont see the ability to upload .mp3, .m4a, .ogg, or .wav files in the media library.
This is puzzling and I appreciate if we can resolve this so I can upload a podcast (audio file i have created on my computer via CallRecorder). -
Thanks for the reply, @efipylarinou –
dailyfintech.com has several upgrades – including the videopress upgrade which allows the uploading of video, but…it does not have the Premium Upgrade which allows the uploading of the audio files for podcasting.
The Premium Upgrade would include the Videopress upgrade as well as the ability to upload those audio files.

There must be some bug here. We have purchased WordPress.com premium and used to upload a video in our posts. Today our admin tried to order it (as per your instruction) and correctly, the system responded that we already have it.
so, we have WordPress.com premium; we can upload video but cant do audio-podcasts. Please, advise us. -

I removed the Videopress upgrade and replaced it with the Premium. I’m not sure what was preventing the upgrade before, but we’ll cover the difference in cost for the year.
