Podcasting is not available for my theme? Rss, etc.

  Hello,
  I published my last podcast on my wordpress.com site in 2012 and now want to publish a new episode.

  I read there’s new simplified way to publish the podcasts on wordpress.com via Podcasting on options-writing, but Podcasting is not appearing on options-writing page below. Is it because my theme is old?

  My second question, where on my site do I upload the new episode of the podcast for it to be seen on Itunes? Where do I write the episode description, so Itunes can display it? The links are below.

  Hi! Are you working through these steps?

  Create a Podcast

  Note back in 2012 you had a special upgrade that allowed audio uploads. Several years ago, we stopped offering that as a separate upgrade, but you can upload audio with any of our paid plans. You will need one of them before you’ll have the option to upload audio.

  Hi,

  Yes, I tried going through the above steps.

  I got to step 2: Under the Podcasting section, click the “Set up” button to access the Podcasting Settings page.

  However, I don’t have a ‘Podcasting section’ in Settings > Writing

  Understood about the paid plan, but there seem to another issue above, or, will Podcasting Settings page appear only when I upgrade to the paid plan?

  Re: Paid plan. Currently, I pay for domain with you once a year, will the personal plan cover it, or it’s a separate cost?

  @ticunbrasil currently we charge domain and plan fees separately, though you do get a promotional discount on the domain for the first year’s renewal.

  And, I believe the podcasting settings will only apply if you can upload audio or video.
