  I’m wanting to do podcasts for my blog, how do I create a page where the people can read a little bit about the podcast and then they click on it and it takes them to the podcast?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That might get you started.
  Beyond that you might want to look at a plugin although you will need to be on a Business Plan to upload plugins.

  Hi there,

  To create a page, go to My Site ->Pages ->Add:

  Create a Page

  There you can add all your information you want.

  For the actual podcasts, use Posts instead:

  Create a Post

  Give each post a category (most people use “podcast”), and set that as your podcasting category in the media settings as explained in the podcasting support doc mentioned above. That will give you a podcast feed you can submit to services like iTunes, so people can listen to your podcast via that service.

  As for linking directly to the podcast, after you submit it to iTunes (and whichever other services you want to submit to), please follow their instructions how to get a direct link to the podcast which you can then add to the page on your site.

  You do not need plugins or the Business Plan for any of this, though if you want to upload audio files directly to your site’s media library you’ll need at least the Personal Plan. However, if you host your audio files somewhere else you’ll still be able to embed them here on the free plan.
