Podio Plugin vs. 60 Day Domain Lock
-
Hi, I need to use the Podio form plugin and have read that that only works on wordpress when it is hosted on my own server, rather than through wordpress (which is what I have now). I need the Podio Plugin for a form, and without the form, my site doesn’t make sense, and my business can’t run. It seems like I can’t transfer the domain name for 60 days, but that means essentially that I can’t run my business for 60 days. Is there any work around so that I might use the Podio Plugin immediately using WordPress? I thought buying the domain and doing everything on WordPress would be the best method, as I haven’t worked much with this before.

Thanks for your help

Hi!
While you can’t transfer your domain for 60 days after purchase, you can still use it with a self-hosted site through setting up custom name servers as described here:
Have you setup hosting elsewhere? If not, we have a guide on how to do that here:

Can you give that a try?
