poetry in the reader

  After the reader was changed….again…some poetry in the reader is presented properly, line per line while others is one big conglomeration of words, looking like a paragraph instead of a poem. Can you explain why? I do not want my poetry improperly displayed in the reader as if it is one big run on sentence.

  Hi there, I hope you don’t mind me commenting here. I post poetry on my blogs, too. I’ve noticed that if I set my blog to show the whole post, then the poetry appears as it should but if I set it to show a summary only (in the Reader), then the poetry is presented in a short paragraph. Personally, I prefer not to show the whole post (ie the whole poem/s) in the Reader, so I don’t mind the poetry being bunched up. Do you follow your own blog so you can see how it appears in the Reader? This might reassure you (or not!). Hope that helps.
