Point Bluehost Domain to WP

    I paid for my WP site hosting from Bluehost for the year. I want to point my domain to W, to simplify things. But, when I attempt to set this up, it prompts me to sign up for WP PRO. I’ve already paid for my Bluehost space for the year. I’m not signing up for WP Pro when I have already paid a year’s worth of hosting.

    Would it be easier to transfer my domain to WP and manage it directly on wordpress.com? If so, how do I make this happen without having to pay for WP PRo and without losing my site visibility?

    If you’re already hosted with Bluehost, you don’t need WordPress.com, as you’d be using the free WordPress software from https://wordpress.org/ instead.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    With that said, to point a domain you already own to a Bluehost site, please consult Bluehost’s documentation on that.
