Point Domain to external host but KEEP my wordpress.com blog active?

  How can I point my domain (purchased from wordpress.com) to BlueHost website but keep my wordpress.com blog active? Currently If I change the nameservers using the instructions in the wordpress.com help forums my blog.wordpress.com site ALSO forwards to the bluehost site. When I change them back, both addresses point back to the blog.wordpress.com. I need these two addresses to point to different places but it’s like they are locked together.
  Any ideas?

  Try setting the primary domain to graveyardshifttravel.wordpress.com:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain

  Then change the name servers.

  I guess we didn’t have the primary domain set correctly.
