Point mail server from WordPress to 1&1/remaining with wordpress

  I need to point mail server records from wordpress to 1&1.

  I have been given the following addresses by help at 1&1, though I do not understand why:
  mx00.1and1.co.uk
  mx01.1and1.co.uk

  We started an account at 1&1 purely to get an @fuelpovertyaction.org.uk account, however if it is possible to buy one at wordpress without all of the hassle I would be much happier to remain with wordpress. We are urgently concerned that the website will go down and be wiped tomorrow afternoon if we do not sort the situation asap.

  Howdy!

  WordPress.com only provides email forwarding (and does not host your email accounts). If you would like an @fuelpovertyaction.org.uk mail address, you will need an external email provider, which it sounds like you have procured through 1&1.

  Now all you need to do is edit your MX records on your domain, so that all of your email is sent to your accounts at 1&1. Here are some thorough instructions on how to add these two MX records to your domain: Custom DNS.

  The DNS that you would need to enter would be as follows:

  MX 10 MX00.1AND1.CO.UK.
  MX 10 MX01.1AND1.CO.UK.
