Hi erinharrigan2018
Help, I am not technical and I don’t know how to point the wordpress site I created to the host – BlueHost – and use the domain name I purchased from GoDaddy. I have Blue Host’s IP but how do I do this?
You need to change the nameservers from godadddy to bluehost in your domain settings.
Here is the link for the document that will help you out in changing the domain name server on godaddy:
https://in.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317You also need the name servers of bluehost that you will be adding there so here is the link for that :
https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/1For more information on this please contact godday or bluehost as all process of changing nameserver is going to take place on there end.
Also Your site is using WordPress.org software which is hosted on another host. So WordPress.com forum is not the right place to get the solution for your question.
You can post your question in WordPress.org forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/For more information here is the support documentation link below:
https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress.com forum helps the sites hosted on WordPress.com only
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are both different platforms, you can find more information for this here:
You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
