Pointing domain from wix.com – don't allow changing name servers.

Hi there, I asked wix to change nameservers to wordpress and have paid for the WordPress ‘mapping’ service. But wix say the following:
“In order to connect your Wix domain to an external website, you will first need to contact your site host for the IP address that the domain should point to.
It is not possible to connect a Wix domain to an external site by changing your domain’s name servers.”
Are you able to give me the IP address to point from wix? Because they can’t change name servers which means I’m caught between a rock and a hard place. I don’t mind ‘transferring’ the domain to you if necessary but does that mean I have to pay for the full premium account?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for your note. We do encourage people to add our nameservers rather than IP addresses because our IPs can change over time.
However, if Wix won’t allow you to map with name servers, here are our current IPs:
192.0.78.13
192.0.78.12Since the IPs we provide are not static, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, you will need to contact us again to find out the most current IPs and then update their A records accordingly.

Hi, thank you so much! That’s a massive help, I think I have fixed it now hopefully, I’ll see when the site updates. It’s just a temporary measure until our domain expires with wix, then we will switch to something else where we can map with the name servers properly.

Hi back again, the site is now showing it has a redirect loop – could this be happening because wordpress is mapping to it but wix is pointing to the ip address? I’ve also raised the same issue with wix so hopefully between us we can figure it out! I may need to turn off the mapping I guess.

Depending on when you added those IP addresses at Wix, it could take up to 72-hours for changes to your DNS to appear correctly throughout the internet. I am also seeing the redirect loop.
I do have a question for you: I see your domain deathintexas.com is registered at Network Solutions. My understanding was that your domain was at Wix, and you were mapping it to your WordPress.com site.

Hi there,
We purchased the domain from wix so it’s likely they purchased it through network solutions I suppose. I just want to point the domain to our new wordpress site. We have no other ties with wix apart from that now that we stopped our premium account.
The site is still saying redirect loop – wix has confirmed that I did it right from their end, is it possible the ‘mapping’ from wordpress could be confusing things since wix is pointing to the wordpress IP, but wordpress is expecting a nameserver pointing?

I think you may need to ask Wix to double check again. There is nothing wrong on our end. But I am not seeing the domain point to our IPs.
