Pointing domain to different sites.

  I own two wordpress domains. Currently they both point to the same site, hosted elsewhere, but default, but I’d like to direct my newly purchased domain whiteguypadthai.com to a different site altogether. Please let me know how this is achieved, without affecting the other. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  You can certainly do that. Do you have the IP address or nameserver for the other hosting account which you’d like to point your domain name to? Depending on which you have, I will need to do it, or I can send you a guide on how to make the change yourself.

  OK, you’re all set! I’ve changed your IP to point towards 66.6.44.4. This did require a nameserver change, so you may get an email notifying you of that. No need to panic! Just something that has to be done to allow this IP change.

  Your domain should start resolving within the next 1 to 24 hours, depending on propagation speeds.
