Pointing Domain to new hosting account

  Hello,

  I’ve searched and read many post relating to domain mapping and transferring. Although I’m still unsure of how to point my domain to a new hosting account outside of WordPress.com.

  It hasn’t been 60 days yet so transferring it over isn’t an option. I tried to edit the DNS entries but that only allows setting up subdomains. Which should I do:

  a.) Forward and mask to the new hosting account. (Don’t really want to do this as I would like the links on my blog to be my domain name.)

  b.) Wait the whole 60 days.

  Please advise and any help is much appreciated.
