Im trying to point my existing domain to my wordpress site I made. I had a old site summerstowndental.co.uk and made a new website summerstowndental.com in wordpress. I want the wordpress site to have .co.uk at the end. How do I do please?
    Thank you

    Hi!

You would need to map your domain summerstowndental.co.uk to your WordPress blog. There is an excellent guide about mapping a domain and it can be found here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Let me know how it goes. Cheers :)

    Great thanks dakisha!

My provide is asking for an ip address as…

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

…isnt enough. Do you know what they are?

    Thanks!

    You are most welcome :)

Well, if the nameservers are not enough, you would need to contact staff directly in order to obtain the IP addresses. However, since IP addresses can change in the future your site might stop working and you would need to repeat the whole process with your provider.

Here is a paragraph about this issue, taken from the official support article:

When mapping an existing domain registered with another host, the host may ask for an IP Address instead of (or in addition to) our nameservers. When possible we encourage people to add our nameservers rather than IP addresses because our IPs can change over time. If your registrar requires A records, you can contact support and we’ll provide you with a list of our current IP addresses.

Please note that since the IPs we provide are not static, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, please contact us again to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records

    Hope that helps :)
