    Hi guys,
I need your help. I am not very technical person, so sorry if my question will seem easy and the answer obvious.
Basicaly I have a blog on wordpress.com and I have a .ie domain mapping to it. To improve search engine ranking, I would like to register the second .ie domain and point it to the same wordpress.com blog/website. My question: is that technically possible and how can get it done ? Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for your reply. I have read the article, however there is no precise answer to the question whether it can be done for multiple domains or just one? I have one domain mapping to the blog already, can i add the second one the same way? Is that correct?

On WordPress.com, you can use a subdomain of a domain that you already own as your blog’s domain. For instance, if you already have a website up at yourgroovydomain.com and you have a WordPress.com blog at, say, example.wordpress.com, you can put your blog in a subdomain of that website, such as blog.yourgroovydomain.com.

Mapping a subdomain with the Domain Mapping Upgrade costs $13.00 per subdomain, per blog, per year.

You can map more than one custom domain name to a blog here, but only one can appear as the “Primary” URL (displayed in browser address bar). Not sure it would help SEO, but I have seen it done with sites where spelling was an issue (Tom vs/ Thom – for instance)

You can map as many domains as you like to a single WordPress.com blog.

If your domain is mygroovydomain.ie which maps to mygroovysite.wordpress.com, you could register and map mycooldomain.ie, mygroovydomain.com, my cooldomain.com etc. and map all of them to the same mygroovysite.wordpress.com site. Only one will show up in the browser bar (the primary domain), as auxclass mentions, and all the others would resolve to that address.
