pointing my blog to a domain address
-
I recently purchased a domain through O365 and would like to point my blog to that domain address in order to create a corporate website.
I purchased a $99 upgrade in order to get some support. I was able to access live chat that one day, but have been unable to get back to that live support chat..
Spencer helped me, but I was unable to follow his instructions to update the nameservers, because of the domain purchase through office 365. So I need more specific help in how to point the blog to the domain.
I cancelled the upgrade, because I could not find how to contact email support.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you purchased the $13 upgrade to map your domain? This is the first step.
In order to map your domain, you will have to change the nameservers for your domain with Office 365 like you mentioned. Sometimes, you can do this by logging in to your account at Office 365. Other times, you might have to send them an email or call support.
From the support doc on mapping a domain:
2. Ask your domain provider to update your DNS settings
This step must be completed with the company you purchased your domain from. You can contact the support department at your domain registrar for help if necessary. If you are not sure what to say, here is a sample email you can send:
I would like to use my domain with a WordPress.com site. In order to do this, I need to point my domain’s name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMI hope this helps you out! Have a great day!

Hi @katesbikeadventure, actually domain mapping was included in the upgrade you bought, but I see you’ve removed it. Do you still need help with this?

Yes, I do need help. I removed the upgrade because I could not figure out to get back to support, which is why I purchased it in the first place. I’d buy it again if I could get some help again. (HOW DO I FIND THE HELP THAT COMES WITH THE UPGRADE? Was the live chat support not part of the package I purchased, even though I got it just one time?
I’d like to take the wordpress blog that I created and map it to the domain that I purchased through O365. I had a live chat session with a wordpress engineer Spencer after I purchased the upgrade. He got me through the first step, but I couldn’t do the second step because O365 was unable to execute the actions in step 2
“which is step 2 in this guide (and must be done at the domain’s registrar) https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/”
? How can I get help to do step 2So now I don’t know what to do. I will purchase the upgrade again if I can get some help to make the domain work on the blog.

@katesbikeadventure, you can find live chat during business hours here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contactDid you ask the domain support if they could help you change name servers? If they are unable to, can you find out what they will let you do to manage the domain?
