Pointing my domain name to my wordpress site

  Hi there
  I have a domain name registered with 123-reg and need to point my domain name to my wordpress site. For this, I think I need my IP address and I don’t know how I find that. Please could you advise. My wordpress site is http://www.violetandroseflowers.wordpress.com

  Hi there,

  We don’t actually have an IP address which we can provide. Instead, all domains which are pointed at us are done so by the much more reliable method of nameservers.

  WordPress.com’s nameservers are:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you get a hold of 123-reg, they will be able to help you out pointing your domain towards these nameservers!
