Pointing my own domain to my WordPress.com site.

Hi, I would like to add my own domain name that I already own, actually a sub-domain ie. wordpress.prestacarts.com and I would like to utilize your WordPress.com domain as well pointing to the same website. My WortdPress.com site is prestacarts.wordpress.com and I would also like to point wordpress.prestacarts.com to the prestacarts.wordpress.com web site. I see you can add a custom domain for 13.00 a year. Is what I want to do possible with WordPress.com? Having both domain names pointing to the same site!

    Please advise!

  • You can surely map a sub-domain of a domain that you already own to WordPress.com site using Domain Mapping upgrade.

wordpress.prestacarts.com can be pointed to prestacarts.wordpress.com using these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/

Give them a try and feel free to ask if you have more questions :)
