Pointing root domain to Shopify……guidelines in support docs not working

Hi.
I can’t seem to point my root domain amuselle.com to Shopify’s IP address by editing the A record. There is not an editing option available.
I managed to get http://www.amuselle.com pointing to Shopify by editing the CNAME records but am still stuck on the root domain.
Can you help?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you haven’t already done so, can you complete the steps outlined by Shopify to claim your domain through them:

Following on from my last message to you, I can see that the A record that I entered for you wasn’t saved and has now disappeared from your DNS records. Apologies for not checking this thoroughly before replying back to you!
A colleague of mine has reported this back to our team and we’re looking into why we’re unable to add an A record for your domain. I’ll let you know when we hear back.

Hi there.
While looking further into the error, I found that the contact details associated with your domain have not yet been verified via email. I think this may have something to do with your DNS records not being saved correctly.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) requires valid contact information and confirmation via email for each registered domain. I’ve gone ahead to resend the confirmation email to you and it will look like this:
Can you confirm your contact information via that email? We can see if you’re able to update your DNS records after confirming.

Actually, I was only prompted to confirm my email address (no contact information) by clicking a red link….and the email address was not actually provided in the emails I received from (email visible only to moderators and staff)…….just asked to confirm

It seems that I was wrong in my assumption that the email confirmation was related to the A record not updating, it was in fact due to another technicality on our end. I’ve changed a few things about and the A record has now saved correctly. I’m seeing your Shopify store when visiting amuselle.com now. Could you confirm that you are too? Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies if you’re not seeing the change straight away.
