Pointing WordPress Domain to Squarespace

  I tried pointing my WordPress domain to Squarespace about a week ago. However, it keeps telling me ‘This website is pending domain owner verification’. What am I missing? Please help. Thank you kindly!

  Hello Aleone89, thank you. I have refreshed many times. I think there is an error with my DNS settings but I can’t figure out what it is. The domain is Ebonyferguson.com

  I see that the domain is already pointing to a Squarespace site at the moment. If you don’t see the Squarespace site yet when you visit the domain, please wait as the DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect.

  Thank you for that information. However, the domain was pointed to the Squarespace site more than 7 days ago and I am still receiving the error. What steps can I take now?

  The domain is correctly pointing to Squarespace but you need to verify to them that you are indeed the owner of that domain. So please contact their support to guide you on how to do that.
