Poll doesn’t display buttons

  I generated my poll following the instructions on the support site. I’ve tried it two different ways (on my sidebar and in my post) and neither are working.

  The sidebar poll won’t display the voting buttons.

  The ‘within the post’ poll doesn’t link to anything.

  The poll is on blog: http://www.elementallyspeaking.wordpress.com. Any help/ideas is appreciated!

  Apparently you tried to paste the javascript code, which doesn’t work in wp.com (part of it gets stripped away for security reasons). What you must paste is the shortcode.

  I pasted the shortcode which definitely fixed the display in the post (not in the sidebar though), but the poll doesn’t actually work. You can click a selection, but the vote button doesn’t do anything? Any other thoughts?

  Thanks for the tip on no javascript – that answers some of my other questions!
