Poll on classic editor

Is there still a poll via the classic editor – i know there is via the block one but I personally like the classic editor but cannot see the poll section?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also…..when you do a poll, are you allowed to add extra ie Why?
For instance in my latest poll i asked about writing programmes Scrivener and Word
So I asked
Which do you prefer
Scrivener
Word
But I want to ask and why but dont know how to add that?

No. You have to use the Poll block.
Also…..when you do a poll, are you allowed to add extra ie Why?
You can do that with Crowdsignal as it allows you to create more detailed polls.

Ah right, ok thats fair enough only being available for the block editor.
Right, ha, so I couldn’t do a simple poll that would add an extra bit? Like the standard polls that appear?

Well for instance, in the ‘standard’ poll as I call it you can have 3 boxes or bullets to ask questions?
Where on those polls can you add the ‘extra bit” please

The poll only has a place for one question, but as many answers as you wish to add. You mean like a fourth or fifth option? As you can see in the video at this link, if you keep typing and hitting your return key, you can have more than 3 options as added by default:
Did you have something else in mind by adding an “extra bit” to your polls instead of what I have shown? Thanks for the additional info!

Yeah, my poll is to do with writing programmes so I wanted to ask what readers liked, give them the option of Scrivener, word or another programme but also to tell me WHY they love their programme.
Do you see what I mean now by my question? I’ll check your link out though :-)

For what you describe, the Survey option would be better:
That allows you to combine poll-type multiple choice questions with open-ended text questions.
Or if you still want the poll feature where it shows live results on people’s answers, perhaps insert a poll, and then add a single-question survey underneath it.

Right ok, so the poll one, you could ask ‘why? And would they be able to answer why?
Ive looked at the difference and Its a poll i feel i need but just want to ask that added ‘why’ but need to know if the box will allow the person doing the poll to answer why?
