Poll options: add default width
-
I would find it useful if I could set the default width of new Polldaddy polls. I like to place them in the side-bar, which requires the “Narrow” width; when I forget, it’s ugly ;-)

You can create your own poll styles and customize all the variables, including width. If you select one of the ready made poll styles, the questions adapt to the width of the poll box, no matter how long they are; you just have to select the Narrow version, then click Save Poll. If you create and use a custom style, you must set a suitable width number in Choose a part to edit > Poll box, and the same number in Choose a part to edit > Answers.

Thanks. Actually, I now see that the “Polls: Options” screen includes a setting for default “Poll style,” which includes width settings–in other words, exactly what I wanted! Guess my eyes weren’t working the other day.

Um … yeah, I consider it resolved, happy to do that. Although:
1. I can do that? Wow, this wasn’t at all apparent from the discussion UI!
2. Um … how? can’t find the button for “go into the first post”!
3. And I see it already bears the RESOLVED tag. -
