poll – reading the “other answer” responses
-
One of my multiple choice polls has the ‘other answer’ option where a respondent can fill in a response not listed, but the results don’t show what the “other” responses actually are. I’ve searched support and forums and this was brought up just over a year ago but there were no responses to the question and it remains unresolved. Anyone have a suggestion? thx.

And please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your username to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

Thx for the heads-up. I thought I had linked my username way back when. It is now and, just in case, is http://schoolcareercentre.wordpress.com.

D’oh! omg, it’s so obvious. to quote:
“Dashboard sidebar > click Polls (or “Edit” under Polls), click “Results” under poll name. “

I checked out your poll and the problem is that one must vote before clicking “other”. I believe you will have to straighten this out a the polldaddy site where you set the poll up.

Hmm… I don’t seem to have a problem with that, Timethief. I can enter a response into the “other” field without first having to vote for one of the suggested responses. But thanks for checking it out.
