  I have been trying for the past hour unsucessfully to put up a poll on my blog, can anyone help me. The poll is from polldaddy.com

  Is the poll you are using using javascript or another scripting language? There are many that will not work due to the way they are coded. HTML is the only ones you can use. If you search the forums for “polls” you will find people have posted up a couple of services that work with wordpress.com blogs including lucky poll but I am familiar with polldaddy.com

  http://sodahead.com/group/412/?link=danf — use sodahead polls instead of polldaddy. This wordpress widget works like a charm and looks better

  From a quick glance at their site, Sodahead is a plug in for self hosted blogs. Plugins cannot be used on wordpress.com blogs.
