I’m trying to get more votes on my polls. But everytime I post them on social media they never get votes views or anything
Is there any other alternatives to get more votes on my polls

Does posting the site link underneath an image give credit to the person or site

No necessarily, no.
First off, you should always get permission before you use an image that belongs to someone else. Using the image and adding attribution is not the same thing as getting permission, and even if you properly attribute the image, the owner can take legal action against you if you use their image without permission.
There are many images on the web for which you automatically have permission – images in the public domain, or issued under a Creative Commons licence, or similar. In those cases, especially with Creative Commons images, the specific licence under which the image is released would specify how and where attribution of the source should be used.

But I have the site url underneath alot of my images because I didn’t wanna just use it without permission. But I know obviously that doesn’t work. So do I still keep the link or remove them. It would be alot of work to go back and remove them. And the images as well. I just don’t wanna have to go through all that

It’s up to you whether you remove the links or not. Just be aware that adding those links does not mean you actually have permission to use those images, and if one of the owners of those images wanted to make a big deal out of you using them, they would be within their legal rights to do so.
I cannot advise you on what you should do in this case. I can only provide you with the relevant information, which I’ve done above.

And if I wanted to get permission from the owner how would I do that like how would I find a way to contact them

Well I’ve decided to keep the links because I already added them. And it would be too much work for me to go back and remove them individually
But I’m trying to figure out how to get permission for the photos I have just don’t know how its gonna work because its alot of photos

You would need to go looking for them. If you download images directly from the site of the person who owns them, or from the Flickr account or wherever, there would typically be a way to contact them there.
If you just download images from random sites on the web, chances are the people who uploaded the images there themselves didn’t have permission to do that. That is why we recommend only using images that have specifically been released for public use, like the ones at the sites we list at the support page I gave you above.

So I will need to look up the contact information individually for all the photos I have if I wanna use them. But that will take forever

Yes, it could take a while, but if you really want to use them, it will prevent potential legal issues for you down the line. Copyright Infringement is taken seriously here and people do contact us when images are used without permission.
Therefore, I would do your due diligence in getting permission for every image you are using.
